শাপলা চত্ত্বরে হত্যাকাণ্ড: শেখ হাসিনাসহ ৯ জনকে গ্রেপ্তারে পরোয়ানা

২০১৩ সালের ৫ মে রাজধানীর শাপলা চত্বরে হেফাজতে ইসলামের সমাবেশে হত্যাকাণ্ডের মামলায় সাবেক প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনা, পুলিশের সাবেক মহাপরিদর্শক বেনজীর আহমেদ, গণজাগরণ মঞ্চের আহ্বায়ক ইমরান এইচ সরকারসহ ৯ জনের বিরুদ্ধে গ্রেপ্তারি পরোয়ানা জারি করেছেন আন্তর্জাতিক অপরাধ ট্রাইব্যুনাল।
বুধবার (১২ মার্চ) ট্রাইবুনালের চেয়ারম্যান বিচারপতি গোলাম মোর্তজা মজুমদারের নেতৃত্বাধীন তিন সদস্যের বেঞ্চ এ বিষয়ে এক আবেদনের শুনানি নিয়ে উল্লিখিত আদেশ দেন।
এ মামলায় যে চার জন অভিযুক্ত কারাগারে আছেন, তাদের আদালতে হাজির করতে প্রোডাকশন ওয়ারেন্ট জারি করা হয়েছে। তারা হলেন—সাবেক স্বরাষ্ট্র প্রতিমন্ত্রী শামসুল হক টুকু, সাবেক আইজিপি শহিদুল হক, সাবেক সেনা কর্মকর্তা জিয়াউল আহসান এবং সাবেক পুলিশ কর্মকর্তা মোল্লা নজরুল ইসলাম।
আগামী ১২ মে তাদের ট্রাইব্যুনারে হাজির করতে ও তদন্ত প্রতিবেদন দাখিল করতে নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন আদালত।
ট্রাইব্যুনালে প্রসিকিউশনের পক্ষে শুনানি করেন চিফ প্রসিকিউটর মোহাম্মদ তাজুল ইসলাম ও প্রসিকিউটর মিজানুল ইসলাম।
