ব্রাহ্মণবাড়িয়া শহরে সব ওষুধের দোকান বন্ধ

উচ্ছেদ অভিযানের প্রতিবাদ জানিয়ে ব্রাহ্মণবাড়িয়া জেলা শহরে অনির্দিষ্টকালের জন্য সব ওষুধের দোকান বন্ধ রেখেছেন ব্যবসায়ীরা। সোমবার (২৭ অক্টোবর) সকাল ৬টা থেকে এ কর্মসূচি পালন করছেন তারা। এতে দুর্ভোগে পড়েছেন রোগী ও তাদের স্বজনরা।
ব্রাহ্মণবাড়িয়া কেমিস্ট অ্যান্ড ড্রাগিস্ট সমিতি পৌর শাখার সভাপতি নূরে আলম সিদ্দিকী বলেছেন, ১৯৮৩ সাল থেকে ব্রাহ্মণবাড়িয়া মহিলা কলেজের আশপাশের দোকানগুলো আমাদের ভাড়া নেওয়া। আমরা নিয়মিত ভাড়া দিচ্ছি। অথচ, আমাদের অবৈধ আখ্যা দিয়ে জোরপূর্বক উচ্ছেদের চেষ্টা করা হচ্ছে, যা অমানবিক ও অবৈধ। অবিলম্বে উচ্ছেদ অভিযান বন্ধ ও ন্যায়সঙ্গত সমাধান চাই।
তিনি আরো বলেন, কয়েকদিন ধরে আমরা আন্দোলন চালিয়ে আসছি। তারপরও প্রতিকার না পেয়ে ব্রাহ্মণবাড়িয়া শহরের সব ওষুধের দোকান অনির্দিষ্টকালের জন্য বন্ধ ঘোষণা করা হয়েছে। পাশাপাশি আমরা অবস্থান কর্মসূচি পালন করব।
এদিকে, ব্রাহ্মণবাড়িয়া সরকারি মহিলা কলেজের সামনের অবৈধ দোকান উচ্ছেদ করে নতুন গেট নির্মাণের দাবিতে কয়েক দিন ধরে বিক্ষোভ কর্মসূচি পালন করছেন শিক্ষার্থীরা।
